Check overall condition of the machine

Clean & sharpen rotary blade

New engine oil

New spark plugs 

Check fuel system

New air filter

Check, clean and lubricate the wheels

Inspect wheel adjusters

Test run of the machine, with full operation and safety check

Carb clean 

1L Aspen

Service the engine as per the engine manufacturers maintenance schedules

Check engine mounting bolts

Check exhaust mounting bolts, check for exhaust leakage

Check operation of throttle/choke control

New air filter, spark plug(s) and Oil is replaced and fuel line if needed. 

Clean and remove all debris from transmission housing

Check transmission for damage etc, check securing bolts (transaxles to chassis, also front straps)

Check security of gear change linkages and operation

Lubricate gear changes cross shaft pivots and linkages

Inspect transaxle drive belt

Inspect jockey pulleys

Remove rear wheels, clean shaft, re-fit wheels and re-charge grease nipples

Drain and re-fill transaxle oil 

Check security of battery

Check battery electrolyte level

Check all solenoid terminals

Inspect all wiring harness securing clips

Check for correct operation of all safety switches

Check console warning lights are functioning correctly

Check front axle for free play and adjust if required

Lubricate front axle centre pivot

Lubricate steering quadrant centre pivot grease nipple

Check ALL steering nuts and bolts

Check steering for ease of operation and full range of travel

Check front wheel bearings

Check and clean brake unit and lubrication pins and disc spline (Manual Transmission)

Check brake pad condition

Check and adjust foot and parking brakes

Lubricate brake pedals linkages and clevis pin

Check for correct operation

Re-fit wheels

Remove cutter deck and examine blade mounting pans for damage

Dress or replace cutter blades as required

Check cutter shaft bearings and housing

Check electric clutch retaining bolt

Check electric clutch tie bar retaining bolts/retaining bracket (adjust to 1mm free play)

Check condition of drive belts and re-tension if necessary

Check for correct operation of PTO clutch, adjust if required

Check PTO bearing housing assembly

Check PTO drive belt and jockey pulleys

Check PCG belts, brushes and bearings

Check PCG securing clamps for ease of operation

Check net for damage
